You're a Gym leader! o:
What would it be like? (ex: Erika's gym is based on a maze that you need to use the HM cut to get through)
What would your badge be called? (ex: Misty's gym bagde is called the Cascade bagde)
What type of pokemon would you use? (ex: Norman uses normal type pokemon)
What pokemon would you use? What are their levels?
I've given it some thought, and I thought it would be pretty cool to run an Ice-type gym. With the adored The-floor-is-icey-so-you-will-keep-moving-until-you-bump-into-a-wall-or-rock type maze. 5th Gym Leader. Crystal Badge.
Pokemon:
#1 Snorunt: lvl 28
Powder Snow
Hail
Double Team
Protect
#2 Snorunt: lvl 28
Icy Wind
Headbutt
Leer
Hail
#3 Piloswine: lvl 33
Ice Beam
Dig
Hail
Endure
#4 Sneasel: lvl 30
Screech
Fury Swipes
Swords Dance
Hail

>.< Nyah! No fair. That's what I would have wanted.
Maybe a flying-type gym. You would have to ride little clouds to get from place to place, and hope you don't fall off or the cloud dosn't evaporate. 7th gym. (The last movie I saw was 'Castle in the Sky', so flying appeals to me right now.) Badge: Aria Badge
Gym leader team:
#1 Pidgeotto Lv 41
Wing Attack
Fly
Aerial Ace
Featherdance
#2 Pidgeotto Lv 40 (Gyms do often have two of the same pokemon)
Wing attack
Fly
Fury Attack
Featherdance
#3 Swellow Lv 42
Aerial Ace
Wing Attack
Double Team
Endeavor
#4 Altaria Lv 45
Sing
Take Down
Refresh
Dragon Claw

Gah, Fire's been used!....Ah, well. GO, FIAH!
Anywho, my gym would be kind of like a mix of Blane's and Wallace's/Juan's gym They'd have to correctly answer a series of fairly difficult pokemon questions, and if they missed one, they'd either fall down a trapdoor into a trainer or be launched into the air and through a hole in the roof, landing outside. Either way, they'd have to start over at the first question, which will be different from the previous time. I'd probably be the eighth gym leader or something, with my badge being the Pyro Badge. Or Pyro Crest, if we can change the Badge part. My team would be as follows:
Flareon: Lv. 52
-Flamethrower
-Bite
-Fire Spin
-Quick Attack
Magmar: Lv. 49
-Flamethrower
-Fire Punch
-Sunny Day
-Confuse Ray
Ninetails: Lv. 49
-Flamethrower
-Will-O-Wisp
-Confuse Ray
-Safeguard
Houndoom: Lv. 51
-Flamethrower
-Faint Attack
-Smog
-Odor Sleuth
Blaziken: Lv. 50
-Blaze Kick
-Fire Punch
-Slash
-Mirror Move
Charizard: Lv. 53
-Flamethrower
-Slash
-Wing Attack
-Metal Claw
I stayed within the moves a pokemon could naturally learn by level-up or relearning(which is how you get Heat Wave on Charizard, which then can be passed on).

Why are you reading this? It's not like there's anything to read here....Besides me telling you not to read this because I'm only telling you not to read it....How many seconds of your life have you wasted now?

I'd be have a Dark type Gym, without question. I think I'd have the Gym open only at night, maybe have something like only natural light from the moon and stars be the only lighting in the gym (so not much... or use flash or something)
As for Pokemon,
Umbreon,
Houndour
Nuzleaf
Sableye
Maybe an absol or Tyrianitar depending on which gym number I was. Also depending which gym number would depend on whether the likes of my Umbreon and Sableye would know Psychic and my houndour would know Sunny Day/Solarbeam combo as its not really fair for an early gym to have moves outside the normal Pokémon's move set, but for the later ones, its all fair to have TM and even Egg moves in the move set... or at least that's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.
Edit: I really like not only this idea, but the information you people have been coming up with. I may expand on this idea.

My gym would be likely a mix of 3 types. Air (Flying) , Water & Rock.
Water & Air relate to my Starsign - Aquarius.
Aqua meaning water and apperantly it's an Air sign... so that's whose two fairly much explaned... ^_^
As for the Pokémon, I'd proberly have Onix, Luvdisc, haven't fully decided on the other 4...

What would it be like? It'd have a maze that goes up a volcano. You'd have a right and left path every so often, with some wrong paths running into dead ends or other paths. It'd have you progressively gonig, from the inside of the volcano, up to the top of the GYM. Their would be 6 GYM trainer people, like they have in games, and you'd have to at least battle 4 of them. They'd be a few levels below my lowest leveled Pokémon.
What would your badge be called? Flaming Badge
