you should know about a few of the pokemon in it... Pikachu pops up... so does Abra, Machop, Geodude - and several other older pokemon... So you should know a couple of them

I don't have D/P yet :'(

To me it's a big leap as I missed out on the Advanced Generation.

There's alot of stuff I know I'm looking forward to.
including...
 • Voice chat - ^_^ Even tho I'd mostly hear "Oh No" and proberly a load of [rainbow]colourful[/rainbow] words...
 • wireless battles and trades
 • better organised backpack

And the link cable is deffinatly one thing that's gladly missed. altho... with trades, (even when they're cabled) I like knowing where my Pokémon are.

I think that there is a cliche that every single Pokemon game has at least one reference to Pikachu.

If i remember correctly, Pikachu, Geodude, Magicarp and Goldeen, (plus evolutions) are available in EVERY one of the main games. Up until Diamond and Pearl, Oddish was also a regular.

What I like about D/P is some of the Pokétch features like a pedomiter (good for seeing how many steps you've taken in hatching an egg) and Day Care checker (where you can see how much your pokemon have grown plus if an egg has arrived) are all good. I also like that you can get more that one fossil pokémon if you spend some time digging in the underground, along with a bunch of evostones

Underground isnt Wi-fi has to be the big one... and Wild Bibarel as well - those guys seem to keep beating me up for some reason

Good:
Wi-Fi Mystery Gifts (if they even use it)
You only need to see every Pokemon for the Dex, not catch them
Piplup
Buizel
Pachirisu
You get the Running Shoes early
Taking your GBA Pokemon to the 4th Generation
Bad:
You need friend codes to do a lot of stuff
The Pickup ability is still too complex from Emerald (i.e., not enough Nuggets except at lower levels, where they are rare, I mean, that's how I made millions (not really) in Sapphire with a Zigzagoon/Linoone)
Not enough Poketch apps
Still only 4 moves allowed

And many more I can't think of right now for both.

What about zubat? In EVERY single cave each step sends me into a zubat battle....
