Gold and S/R Help Please!

Post by Coffee »

I have some questions.

GOLD
1. Is there a 3rd legendary bird? If so, how do you catch it?

2.On what nights can you catch clefairy? Is it inside or outside the mountain?

3. Where do you find Chansey?

R/S

1.Can you find bulbasaur/charmander/squirtle in the wild?

2. What is the best starting pokemon?
( i am a beginner in this game )

Please help me! Thanks. :-)

I'll help you the best I can. With your first question, there is not a third one, unless you consider the 3 from the first pokemon games. With your R/S questions, I heard that Mudkip was the best starter, and no you can't catch Charmander/Bulbasaur/Squirtle in the wild.

oh, and about the best starter being Mudkip and all, that was just what I heard, I'm not sure if it's true or not.

You can catch Clefairy on a Monday night dancing around a moonstone in Mt. Moon

You can find Chansey just right of Fuschia City, walk along and up till you reach a small square section of grass with a lady walking about wanting to trade a Chansey for an Aerodactyl.

Actually, it is. It does great in the first gym against the rock types, fair in the second against the fighting types, pretty good in the third since electric moves don't effect him, good in the fourth against the fire types, fair in the 5th against whatever type Vigoroth and Slaking are, fair in the 6th against the flying types, good against the rock/psychic types that the 7th gym has, and not bad but not good against the water types in the 8th.

GOLD
1. There isn't a third legendary bird
2. I dont know the times, but its inside the mountain
3. You can't catch Chansey, you have to evolve Clefairy with a Moonstone

R/S
1. No you cannot find those Pokemon in the wild. They aren't even on the Pokedex
2. The Grass Pokemon in all the games are the easiest to start out with. The second would be Water and third would be Fire.[/u]Edit by Pika9It will be alaivle in FRLG and it will be upgeaded to your Pokedex

If you mean beginners, then you are reading an exception to that rule's post. I had just gotten Ruby last summer, and I started with Torchic, and I wound up doing better than I am now on my Sapphire when I chose Mudkip.
What do you mean last summer it was relased in March this year
