Well, it just might. A 6 month old Baby mammoth was discovered by a reindeer herder in May this year. Yuri Khudi stumbled across the carcass near the Yuribei River, in Russia's Yamal-Nenets autonomous district. The frozen carcass is to be sent to Japan for detailed study. The animal's trunk and eyes are still intact and some of its fur remains on the body.The scientists said that if they can get a good DNA out of the specimen. Then they can try to revive the species in about 22 months.

They've been saying that every time they found a frozen mammoth. But since it's in Japan, they just might do it. I thought that you were going to talk about finding an actual prehistoric reptile and reviving it, but I've heard this one before.
