4 generation pokemon
What do you think of the 4th generation? Personly I think the pokemon are really un-creative. to me they just seem like animals and other things in life exept, cartoonified.

And they always were. About half of them were previous gen Pokemon that had new evolutionsAqua Pikachu wrote:What do you think of the 4th generation? Personly I think the pokemon are really un-creative. to me they just seem like animals and other things in life exept, cartoonified.

This is the last Generation I'll sit through. I'll just say that. Thank Buizel for convincing me to play the 4th Generation.

Re: 4 generation pokemon
While having new evolutions made some previous-gen Pokémon more powerful for actual battle (I luffs my Roserade and Mismagius), the bulk of 4th-gen didn't look or feel creative or Pokémon-ish at all. *copy/pastes what Aqua Pikachu said*
I drop by every now and then... I shall never be just a memory! *cackles*

Re: 4 generation pokemon
Because the fact that Burmy can evolve into four different pokemon depending on the form it is when evolves and it's gender is really un-creative.Personly I think the pokemon are really un-creative.
Oh, yeah let me tell ya, that Uxie looks EXACTLY like my cat.to me they just seem like animals and other things in life exept, cartoonified.
This generation was just as good as any other, if not better, IMO.

I think some of the pokemon from the previous generations were better off with out evotutions whether they were pre-evolutions or they were other stages.TaylorGS wrote:While having new evolutions made some previous-gen Pokémon more powerful for actual battle (I luffs my Roserade and Mismagius), the bulk of 4th-gen didn't look or feel creative or Pokémon-ish at all. *copy/pastes what Aqua Pikachu said*

Roselia didn't need an evolution. I was thinking Budew was a new one, but I found out it evolves into Roselia. And you have to use a stone for some reason to evolve Roselia. Nosepass didn't need one either, and neither did Aipom. Rhydon's looks cool, but I'll never get it since you have to trade and I hate trade evolutions.

I disagree with that piece of your post completely. Aipom, aside from being my favorite pokemon, was an absolutely horrible pokemon. All of it's stats were below average, except for speed, which wasn't even that great. The only possible use for it was Baton Passing, and Aipom did not have enough HP or defense to to even survive one hit. Ambipom, however, has a base attack stat of 100, which isn't all that bad, and Ambipom is actually worth using. It's in the borderline tier.SonicKitsune wrote:and neither did Aipom.

Keep in mind I'm also judging by looks. If a guy looks weird, I probably won't use it for that fact. That's exactly why I won't evolve a Snorunt.

Well, that's easier than the pointless way of trade evolution. They're still doing that!
