Wikipedia wrote:Sudoku is a logic-based number placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 boxes (also called blocks or regions) contains the digits from 1 to 9, only one time each (that is, exclusively).
Wikipedia also gives nice examples:
I found an old book that I got last year full of them; they're pretty fun. And in my opinion, much easier to do than Crossword puzzles because these don't require a large vocabluray. You can just pick it up and start.
I like playing Sudoku, I've a book of it I bought in Cyprus to give me something to do while on the plane and I've completed nearly all of the Sudoku puzzles in Dr Kawashima's Brain Training. It's not something I make a point of playing but if I've nothing better to do I'll play it.
i picked up on the Sudoku Puzzles, whist away mainly on the brain training game...
I often spend about two hours (if I put my mind to it) to about a week to complete one puzzle. I dunno if it's me leading a heckic life or me just do one 3x3 one day and do another 3x3 the next - lol
I love Sudoku!
it's good if you want to do something quick
to pass the time,
if you're waiting for a bus or something.
It's become too easy for me, though,
so I've mostly been just doing
Mensa puzzles instead.
I'm back after leaving for many months (last time I logged on was January, last time I posted was a while before that) and I wonder if any of you guys still remember me!
