The answers were:

Answers
01: 482 - there are 493 total, but Mew, Ho-oh, Lugia, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Manaphy, Phione, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus are not needed to complete the dex acording to the game.

02: Volt tackle - also the pikachu you can win on PBR will come with this move, but otherwise, its only learnt via breeding

03: Eevee - your rival starts of with an Eevee while you use a Pikachu. He'll evolve the Eevee depending on which evolution stone you used first.

04: Explosion - with a base power of 250, its clearly the strongest move

05: Dubious Disc - Found on route 225, attach to Porygon2 and trade

06: Ecreteak City - the leader Morty lives in this city and uses Ghost types against you using a Gastly, 2 Haunters and a Gengar

07: Special Attack - Helpful if your focusing on a physical attacker... or just need to remove some special attack ev's

08: TM70 - Flash has finally been degraded to a TM... has anybody actually used it as an actual move?

09: Samual or Sammy - As mentioned in the PokÃ©mon 4 ever movie, though repeated a couple of times over the course of the Anime

10: Shigeru, named after Shigeru Miyamoto the genius creator of Mario and Zelda (among others). Satoshi Tajiri, the guy who created PokÃ©mon, see's Miyamoto as somewhat of a rival, and since Ash's Japanese name is Satoshi, its only right for his rival to be named after Tajiri's own rival.
