I've sort of heard of it... then again some of my local cosplayers did a fairly ammusing skit featuring Take That's Let it shine.

I'm dying to watch it myself...

The link in Kikyo's post will no longer work, unfortunately. I did finish the anime just a few days ago. It's 26 episodes total, and really isn't half bad. The last episode was really good, but at the same time, kind of disappointing, as though there was something missing...

Unfortunately,
all the episodes on youtube and stuff were deleted,
due to copyrite infringement.
I think that may mean that they're going to
have an english version soon,
to be realeased on cartoon network or something...

It takes place a a high-class school that, normally, only the rich can afford. The main character, Haruhi Fujioka, actually manages to attend on a special scholarship, when she actually not wealthy at all. i've watched some of the anime at a friend's house, and heard about it too. i believe i remember seeing it first as a manga advertisement. it looked like one of those serious series, maybe even violent. but i appeared to be completely wrong when i saw the show.
pretty funny, i might actually read it sometime.

Got both DVDs over the past year, got vol 1 signed by Vic when i got to the convention.

introduced my sister to the anime, she absolutly loves the series. Especally the Hittachin Twins.
