On the GCN version, it is so incredibly easy to catch a coelacanth. You probably could find one in about 15 minutes of looking in the rain. ^^;
It's so much harder to catch one on ACWW... Although it is nice that it can be found when it snows on that game. I remember when I caught one back around Janurary. I was showing it off all day in WiFi Land. n_n

Yeah. That means you can't just scare them away, you have to catch all the sea bass... It's so annoying. But I've managed to get two, and Shrine only recently gave me the game, so that's pretty good. ^__^ I've also managed to catch five stringfish!
