While Pokémon Black/White maintains the tradition of most Pokémon evolving via level up it also introduced some new evolution methods, both for new Pokémon and previously existing Pokémon whose method of evolution has changed. Below are the more unusual evolution methods and which Pokémon use them to evolve.

New Pokémon

While trading to evolve is not a new evolution method, these Pokémon require a specific Pokémon to be traded for them in order to evolve.
